A feature that's always been missing from the RollerCoaster Tycoon series is the ability to make railroad crossings. Well with these few steps' making a grade crossing is actually quite simple. The first step is to lay the track. Note that the path cannot be laid.  The next step is to use the terra forming tool and lower the ground three notches.  Now use the path tool and lay a new path in the hole you've made.  Pull up the land using the terra forming tool.  The inspector seems quite please with the final result.  You can add some pizzazz to your railroad crossing by adding some gates. These can be found in Vodhin's Gizmo Set.  Sadly peeps aren't very careful; they will walk right into the train. This tutorial may lead to plenty of lawsuits but it's an easy way to get a new feature in RCT3.  |
