Welcome to Theme Park Village's coverage of the annual Halloween event held at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut.

 

 

 

 The entrance plaza was filled with some cool Halloween themed scenes such as this one.

 

 

 

 Despite a consistent light drizzle, all rides that usually run for the event were open.

 

 

 

 The park, like the entrance plaza, was filled with small scenes like the one shown here. This particular one was right at the entrance to Boulder Dash.

 

 

 

 All the rides were lit up very well and the park had a very pleasant atmosphere in the dark.

 

 

 

  The bumper cars had this cool mist effect going for the event.

 

 

 

 Over in the back of the park, Zoomerang is sporting it's new purple and blue paint job.

 

 

 

 In my opinion, it's a huge improvement over the former orange supports and green track.
