Page 1 of 2 Welcome to another TPV Special Edition Update. This time we're taking a trip to Monterey, California. A walk down Cannery Row makes you start to wonder why you even got out of the car. Then you see this, the ORIGINAL Bubba Gumps Restaurant. A look down this street sure doesn't make you want to take a stroll. At the end of the street is this unassuming building which is the home of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Once inside, one of the first exhibits you encounter is the jelly fish. 1.2 million gallons of water fill up the Outer Bay tank where is little guy calls home. Folks, you are looking at the only Great White shark currently in captivity. This young male will probably be kept here for studies for another couple of months before being released back to the wild. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is the only aquarium that has successfully kept a white shark. |
