InBev Purchases Anheuser-Busch

Anheuser-Busch has been sold. InBev, the European brewer has purchased the largest American brewer for $52 billion.

With a debt load of $7 billion, InBev has stated that they need to sell off assets that are not essential to their core business: brewing. So what does that mean for the Busch theme parks? They’ll probably be sold off.

If rumors prove to be true, a deal could already be in the works for the parks to be sold. At this point, there is no information regarding who the purchaser could be. Major US theme park operators Six Flags and Cedar Fair do not seem like likely buyers considering their massive debt load.
