The results are in for the Golden Ticket Awards 2008. Just as you’d expect, the winner for best park is Cedar Point and best water park is Schlitterbahn. Best new coaster went to Ravine Flyer II, the wooden coaster at Waldameer Park in Erie, Pa. In the new category of best Christmas event, Dollywood took the victory with their event, Smokey Mountain Christmas.

Also, Knoebel’s once again won for having the best food. Does anyone know what makes their food win every year?
