American Idol Coming to Disney World |

 No, no, not just an audition...but an entire attraction. Disney has announced that by the end of 2008 an American Idol attraction will call Disney's Hollywood Studios home. The Orlando theme park will be the first park to have any Idol themed attraction. Visitors can audition in the morning and then perform live throughout the day. Winners from each show will then get to compete in an evening finale show. This idea seems to be very similar to the Who Wants to by a Millionaire that was at Disney's California Adventure for several years. It was popular for awhile, but eventually the popularity dropped off. I can see American Idol staying open for several years to come, but it will surely fade into the abyss. You can read more here.
