It’s not too often that a park gets praise for adding a new kids area. However, in Freestyle Music Park’s case, the addition of Kids in America is a step in the right direction.

Formerly Hard Rock Park, Freestyle Music Park of Myrtle Beach has broken ground on a brand new kids area. Kids in America is not a large kids area, just four new rides, but is set to make a large impact on the park. When the park opened last season, there were simply not enough rides for kids. The park’s new management is looking to cash in on the ‘family friendly’ craze to bring in more families.

So while the addition of a kids area is not that impressive, it is certainly a step in the right direction for Freestyle Music Park.
