Terminator at Six Flags Magic Mountain is making its way to a Memorial Day weekend opening. The GCI wooden coaster construction is nearing completion as the circuit is complete and work on the station and queue is well underway. Time for a quick update on Astro Orbiter at Disneyland! According to Screamscape, the ride is apparently just down for some major maintenance. The main tower with the orbiting planets has been down for several years and is rumored to be fixed during the maintenance.

The rumors are circling the internet about recent photos appearing from Disneyland. It appears as though the Astro Orbiter at the entrance of Tomorrowland is going under a much more extensive overhaul than first thought. All of the rockets and the ornamental structure have been removed from the ride.

The rocket ride was removed from its perch above the midway during the 1998 re-launch of Tomorrowland. It was relocated to the entrance of the area where it has led to a traffic flow bottleneck.
